Educate.
We raise funds for young children from very unprivileged families to
have an education at an English school. Our goal is to provide
the youth with a brighter future than their current.
Our Mission
AfricaNdoto’s mission is to improve the quality of children’s education in Northern Tanzania, by providing them with a proper English education, as well as to improve their living conditions. AfricaNdoto bridges the gap between vulnerable families and education. Therefore, assisting families in adequately caring for their children is a huge part of our mission.
Become a Sponsor
AfricaNdoto is looking for sponsors to pay for seven years worth of Primary school tuition for children in the Northern Tanzania region. Our goal is to educate children from very unprivileged families who don’t have the resources to take their children to school. AfricaNdoto works with certified English speaking schools with graduated teachers to ensure quality education.

YEARS SERVING COMMUNITIES
AfricaNdoto started working with the local communities around 1.5 years ago. We are a small team but growing exponentially and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our children in Northern Tanzania.

Through our volunteers’ donations, we’ve been able to build new amenities for schools in extremely poor conditions, as well as make improvements in their hygiene, health, and safety.
Volunteer
There are many different ways in which you can collaborate with us. We are
working on a lot of projects on a wide variety of different fields. If you want
volunteer with us, please send us an email at info@africandoto.org and tell us a
bit about your background. We will help you arranging your trip to Tanzania
where you will participate in different projects and so spend time with our lovely
children, or if you want to help us remotely you can also do so!
HYGIENE
AfricaNdoto is working towards providing schools in the Northern Tanzania region with better sanitation facilities, waste management systems, and building toiletes and showers. We also educate children daily hygiene routines and provide them with the basic necessities such as soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
NUTRITION
A 42% of the infant population in Tanzania suffers from chronic malnutrition. Food is the basis of everything, and we are working towards providing Tanzanian children with a healthier diet rich in protein, vitamins, and carbohydrates. We are currently seeking nutritionists to help educate the communities.
SAFETY
We provide monthly safety workshops to our schools’ management staff and teachers, which include first aid techniques in case of minor injury. Most of the schools have been built out of discarded plastics and hazardous materials which can be very dangerous for the children.
SHELTER
A 50.7% of the population of Tanzania lives in slums built out of clay and mud, which doesn’t make up for a safe or durable home. The schools we work with offer a Boarding option for students to live on premises, and we ensure the facilities are built with the appropriate standards.

Get Involved
There are so many ways in which you can get involved with AfricaNdoto. We are looking for onsite volunteers of all sorts of specialties and skillsets. If you have a passion to help others and to travel, reach out to us and we will help you organize an unforgettable volunteering experience. We are also looking for remote volunteers, such as Graphic Designers, Content Creators, Social Media Managers, etc, … AfricaNdoto is always working on projects that require funding, if you can and want to donate we will also gladly appreciate it.

We will organize your trip to Tanzania, including your accommodation with a local family, which will include your meals.
